Greenday

Hi all
I am beside myself with excitement , i'm off to see Greenday today in Manchester and i can't .My son works just around the corner from the cricket ground and has been telling me all about the rehearsals they have been hearing, he is soooooo jealous that he can't come. It has taken me days to decide on my outfit of choice and i'm still dithering on it , the weather is great though so at least i dont have to worry about my hair getting wet and frizzing up so much the people behind me can't see.

Alice In Wonderland

Hi have just watched Alice In Wonderland and i have to say it is better than i ever expected . If any of you have read the book then you will know just how twisted and strange it is , all other productions have been disney style being all sweet and lovely . This is Tim Burton at his best and is how i always pictured the book to be . My crush on Johnny Depp has just got even worse as he is absoloutely brilliant in this movie .

Searching the web

Hi all
Well i have been up all night again searching the web for ways to earn money at home and i'm slowly going crazy . Every time i have come across what seems to be a good idea i end up losing heart because they want money from me first . The thing that gets me is i have no money that is why i'm spending so long on the net . I am unable to go out to work at the moment due to the brain haemorrhage i had and all i want to do is make an honest income . Please tell me that there are honest genuine people out there before i lose my hope and mind completely.

What a let down

Im not surprised i'm saying this but what a let down the weather has been 4 this bank holiday weekend . I hope it's going to improve especially with the World cup just around the corner .
I don't usually watch the footie much but i always get caught up in the fever of the World cup . I love how it's the one time we all unite to cheer on our countries and show true comradeship. I have to laugh at one of the lads we go out drinking with though , he always chooses the most obscure team and cheers for them all by himself .

Pink as a lobster

Hi all

Have you ever watched Futurama , because the only way i can describe myself at the mo is i look like Dr Zoigberg i am a lovely glowing pink from all the sun this weekend . I wouldn't mind but i was slapping sun cream on every 15 mins . I just hope i go a bronze shade and don't peel and look like an alien . We had the barbie and after all the panic of the previous week it passed in a blur of wine and burgers . I had a brilliant time i just wish i didn't have to do all the tidying up now , well never mind I've guilt tripped my best friend and its her turn next week lol .

Looking forward to the weekend

Hi all
I'm really looking forward to this weekend as it's supposed to be hot hot hot !
So it's time to dig out the barbie clean off the dust and do what we British do best - stand in the garden eating burnt raw food even if it isn't as hot as we were told it was going to be .
So I'm bracing myself for the supermarket dash knowing every 1 else from my home town will be there buying up all the bread , burgers and salad . I just hope i don't get crushed as we all fight it out to the death in the hope of getting all the best meat on  sale . Yes folks it's the start of a typical British summer and we will all be out braving the weather and standing firm as we all compete to throw the best barbie ever 

New Baby !

NEW BABY

Hi all
i am so chuffed at the mo , my daughter -in - law 2 be went for her 1st scan on Monday and she brought home pics of the new baby ( or Peanut as we have all started calling it )
I don't think i've ever seen my son so happy , we all know that most mums 2 b get that great pregnacy glow about them ( if they are lucky ) , but my son seems to be glowing as well . he is walking about on cloud nine and it's so brill 2 see him like this . Peanut altho not planned has turned into the best surprise ever and it's brought our family closer . Peanut is due on Xmas day



  and it seems so far away , we are all bursting with excitement to welcome this little addition to our lives.
